We are a casual family restaurant with a unique New Orleans French Quarter style atmosphere. Our restaurants are a gallery of artistic work created by prestige local artists of St. Tammany parish. We are located both in Slidell and Abita Springs, Louisiana to conveniently serve our community. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at both locations. We serve a Sunday Jazz Brunch in our Abita location unlike any other on the North Shore. We would also love to help you cater your next special event. So weather your looking for an eclectic bayou born taste or just wanting to show your guest how folks here in the south live and eat, were here to help. We specialize in traditional New Orleans cuisine just like your mama used to make! If you have been missing some of your favorite New Orleans dishes like homemade seafood gumbo or shrimp corn and crab bisque then you should come visit us! We have many items that we are told our customers just can't live without, from our Slow Cooked Ribs with our signature Shrimp and Squash Casserole to our delicious Camellia Seafood Pasta. Here at the Camellia Café we only serve the freshest of seafood, Let us serve you up one of our Seafood Platters with all the sides or try our Crabmeat Au Gratin made with huge jumbo lump crabmeat, but lets not forget our daily "Fresh Catch of the Day" and Daily Specials that are sure to please. We also offer signature steaks. Like our Filet Bordelaise and our Hawaiian Rib Eye to our New York Strips and our Center Cut Pork Chops. Of course you might like to top them off with a little something extra like Crabmeat Ponchatrain, Grilled Shrimp, Lump Crabmeat or our signature Camellia Seafood Sauce. Try them with fresh cut Green Beans, Baked Macaroni or a Loaded Baked Potato. We wouldn't be a New Orleans restaurant if we didn't offer the best selection of Poor Boys in town, come try us for lunch and dine on some of the classics like Slow Roasted Roast Beef and Gravy, Soft Shell Crab, Hot Sausage and of course Fried Shrimp, Oyster or Catfish dressed any way you like it on fresh French Bread served to perfection with French Fries, Onion Rings or even Sweet Potato Fries! If we haven't tempted you enough, our desert menu is fabulous. Finish off you meal with Homemade Bread Pudding with Meringue and Rum Sauce or Creole Cream Cheese or Crème Brule Cheesecake. Or maybe our signature Camellia 12 layer Carrot Cake.
